Dr. Garima Aggarwal is a nephrologist with extensive expertise in the area of hypertension, kidney diseases, renal transplants (including high risk transplants, blood group incompatible transplants), dialysis (hemo and peritoneal) and critical care nephrology.

 

She is a gold medalist in MD Medicine and a top ranker in DM Nephrology. She is an active member of several Indian and global nephrologist communities, and is therefore very well informed on latest developments in the field.

Dr. Garima believes in providing her patients with the best level of medical care, while practicing empathy for her patients.

Dr. Garima currently practices at Manipal Hospital Varthur Road, Bangalore (previously known as Columbia Asia Hospital, Whitefield)  and also does online consultations. She was previously associated with Max Hospitals, Delhi NCR.

Consultant Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician

   Manage outpatient clinics and inpatient admissions with independent charge/primary responsibility for own patients
•    Conduct several procedures including renal biopsies, permcath insertions, hemodialysis catheter insertions, PD catheter insertion
•    Manage hemodialysis unit with 40+ hemodialysis machines (one of the largest HD units in Delhi, NCR) 
•    Part of the renal transplant team that manages live related/unrelated/ABO incompatible/high risk transplants, as well as deceased donor transplants
•    Conduct daily outpatient clinic and outstation Nephrology OPDs twice per month
•    Supervisor of academic program for DNB Nephrology with 1 DNB Nephrology seat/year  
•    Conduct regular academic Continued Medical Education (CMEs) for multi-department and interdepartmental clinical meets 
•    Teach classes for DNB Nephrology, DNB Medicine, Dialysis technician course and nursing students
•    Organize annual Walkathon for kidney patients on World Kidney Day, to raise awareness on kidney disease in the community
